LOCATION:
Dixon Field, 50 Robertson St, Gisborne Vic

Game Day Parking

Dixon Field is shared with other sporting groups resulting in limited parking

For games on Pitches A, B, C + F, parking is available at Dixon Field via Entrance 1 (at roundabout)

For games on Pitches D & E, parking is available at the Shire Offices via Entrance 2 (opposite SES Station)

Parking at Dixon Field: parking starts where the gravel widens adjacent with the tennis courts. Please DO NOT park in the driveway of Entrance 1, as there needs to be enough room for two-way traffic, particularly in the event of an emergency

Parking at the Shire Offices: this is a sealed car park. Please park in marked bays only. DO NOT park any vehicles on or in front of the Helipad

Alcohol

Gisborne Soccer Club holds a liquor permit for the sale of alcohol at Dixon Field. Alcohol will only be available during Senior fixtures, we will not offer sale of alcohol during MiniRoos & Junior events. Please do not BYO as sales are important to the club’s finances.

Smoking

Within accordance to FV Rules of Competitions, there is to be no smoking on the playing side of the fences (chains) that surround Dixon Field. Smoking is permitted, but discouraged, within the Car Parks but at least 3 metres away from any buildings or as Council regulations & signage state. Please be mindful of other sporting teams coming & going that frequently use Dixon Field.

Change rooms & Toilets

Change rooms are located in the buildings adjacent to Pitch A. There are 2 home rooms amd 2 away rooms.  

Gisborne's change rooms:
These 2 rooms are in the new pavilion, the first room's entrance faces the pitch with the second room's entrance at the tennis club side of the building.

Away change rooms:
The 2 away rooms are in the old pavilion, again the first room's entrance faces the pitch with the second room's entrance at the tennis club side of the building. 

Each of the 4 change rooms has their own dedicated shower & toilet facilities, these facilities are for players use only.

PUBLIC TOILETS

Male & female public toilets: 
Are located in the old pavilion. The entrances to the public toilets are at the western end of the of the old pavilion building, the entrance to the Male toilets being close to the back of the sheds, the entrance to the Female toilets is closer to the Tennis club side of the building.

Disabled toilet:
Is located in the new pavilion next to the ramp and the disabled car parks.

Canteen

The club’s canteen is located in the pavilion at the end closest to the warm up area. The canteen is open during every game from 8.30am (when there are 9:00am matches).

EFTPOS facilities are available.

Playground

A small playground is located opposite the walkway between the 2 pavilions, on the Tennis club side of the Dixon Field Car Park
